Gender Ministry to launch Revised Early Childhood and Development Policy
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection through the Department of Children would be commemorating the 2025 World Children’s Day, with the launch of the Revised Early Childhood and Development Policy.
The celebration on the theme: “My Day My Right: Investing in Early Childhood, a National Priority,” would highlight the crucial role of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) in promoting holistic growth, protection, and lifelong learning for children aged 0-8 years.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency by the Ministry said, “The official launch of Ghana’s revised ECCD Policy would reflect over 15 years of progress and incorporate the latest sectoral developments, including alignment with the Nurturing Care Framework.”
