Use technology to improve healthcare delivery – UG Pharmacy students advised  

Pharmacy students of the University of Ghana have been urged to leverage the opportunities of technology to develop innovative solutions for improved healthcare delivery.   Venturing into areas like telehealth, teleconsulting, and telepharmacy would upgrade their professional skills to respond effectively to patients' needs.   Dr Ruby Aileen Mensah Assan, the Director, Strategic Health Purchasing, National Health Insurance Authority, who gave the advice, said: "We will be proud of pharmacists who are leaders of change and advocates for better care, more efficient systems, and improved patient outcomes."    Dr Annan said this at the White Coat Ceremony for level 500 students of the University of Ghana School of Pharmacy in Accra.   The White Co...

Peace in Bawku, healthcare top priorities of Upper East Regional designate

Mr Donatus Atanga Akamugri, the Upper East Regional Minister-designate, has outlined four key priority areas he is determined to pursue and leave as legacy at the end of his tenure. Helping to bring permanent peace to Bawku, ensuring the completion and operationalisation of the Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam, the Upper East Regional Airport and the Agenda 111 would be his top priorities to improve the lot of the region. Mr Akamugri made these commitments when he faced Parliament’s Appointment Committee in Accra during his vetting on Monday.
