CENTRAL EAST POLICE SECURE CONVICTION IN ARMED ROBBERY CASE AT GOMOA BUDUATTA
The Central East Regional Police Command has successfully secured a conviction in a high-profile robbery case involving a 20-year-old suspect, Mohammed Bello.
According to a press release issued by the Public Affairs Unit of the Ghana Police Service in the Central East Region, the suspect was convicted on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, after pleading guilty to charges of robbery at the Ofaakor Circuit Court. He was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment with hard labour.
The robbery occurred in the early hours of July 6, 2025, around 12:30 a.m. at Dabanyin, near Gomoa Buduatta junction, along the Kasoa-Winneba road.
