GJA president hails 2025 elections as “smoothest process ever”
Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), has described the ongoing GJA elections as the “smoothest process ever,” expressing deep satisfaction with its conduct.
Speaking at the International Press Centre polling station, where 78 out of 303 expected voters had cast their ballots by late morning, he praised the peaceful nature of the election.
“This has been the smoothest or the most smoothest process ever,” he stated, drawing a contrast between the 2025 polls and past elections.
Mr. Dwumfour, who served as GJA president from 2023 to 2025, is seeking re-election and faces a challenge from Mr. Charls Yao Mawusi, a media trainer.
