Ghana TVET Service Sanctions Three Technical Institute Principals Over Unauthorized Fee Collection
The Ghana TVET Service (GTVETS) has taken firm disciplinary action against three principals of technical institutes following allegations of unauthorized fee collection and extortion.
The affected institutions are Agona Swedru Technical Institute in the Central Region, Sunyani Technical Institute in the Bono Region, and Madina Technical Institute in the Greater Accra Region. Management has directed the principals of these schools to proceed on 30 days of administrative leave with immediate effect to allow for investigations.
