GPHA murdered manager’s family, unhappy with discharge of suspects
The family of the murdered Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Madam Josephine Tandoh Asante, has expressed displeasure at the discontinuation of the case and discharge of the four accused persons by the court.
Five years ago on January 13, 2019, Madam Asante was murdered at dawn through stabbing at her residence at the Emefs Estate at Mataheko in the Ningo-Prampram District after returning from a senior staff get-together.
Following this, four suspects, including the victim’s houseboy and driver, were arrested and arraigned before the TDC Magistrate Court for a committal trial.
