GCTU refutes allegations, initiates probe into reported cases
The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) has dismissed unsubstantiated allegations against key officials and faculty members.
In a statement shared with the Ghana News Agency, the University said it had constituted an internal committee to investigate reported cases of academic dishonesty in accordance with its disciplinary code.
It described the allegations, largely circulated on social media, as part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish the institution’s reputation, allegedly driven by individuals with personal grievances, including aggrieved former employees “whose motives are clearly self-serving and parochial.”
