The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially opened nominations for members interested in contesting as the party’s Presidential Candidate for the 2028 general elections. In a notice signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party announced that nomination applications will be accepted beginning Tuesday, July 29, 2025, and will close on Thursday, August 28, 2025. According to the statement, the call for nominations is in accordance with Article 13(1)(2) of the NPP Constitution.
