The church must lead attitudinal change towards environmental stewardship — Bishop Attakruh

NCCE promotes responsible citizenship and environmental stewardship in Kwaebibirem schools   

The Kwaebibirem Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has intensified civic and environmental awareness among schoolchildren as part of its activities marking Citizenship Week and World Environment Day 2025.  The Commission visited four basic schools, Tsumwusu M/A Basic School, Pramkuma M/A Basic School, Vision of Christ Academy Kwarmang, and Kwarmang M/A Basic School.   The team, led by Assistant Civic Education Officer Mr. Edward Opare and supported by National Service Personnel Mr. Elisha Nartey, engaged students on the theme: “Ghana’s Future, The Role of the Ghanaian Child.”  Mr. Opare underscored the importance of environmental protection, particularly in the fight against illegal mining, cautioning students that such activities “deg...
