The Most Reverend John Baptist Attakruh, the Bishop of Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese of the Catholic church, has called on the church to lead the charge in promoting attitudinal change among the citizenry towards environmental stewardship. The Kwaebibirem Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has intensified civic and environmental awareness among schoolchildren as part of its activities marking Citizenship Week and World Environment Day 2025. The Commission visited four basic schools, Tsumwusu M/A Basic School, Pramkuma M/A Basic School, Vision of Christ Academy Kwarmang, and Kwarmang M/A Basic School.
