Ellembelle MP assures communities of good roads  

Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency, has pledged to team up with the Ministry of Roads and Highways to put the road network in cocoa-growing areas in the constituency in good shape.   He noted that the deplorable nature of roads in those farming communities affected the economic life of the people which required urgent attention.   Mr Armah-Kofi Buah who is also the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, said this during the first leg of a "Thank You Tour" of the Constituency.   Communities he visited were Asasetre, Nvuma, Tandan, Ebi, Ayawora Adubrim and Mpeasem.    It would be recalled that in 2020, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo performed a sod cutting ceremony at Teleku Bok...

Gov’t to sanitise Minerals Commission’s issuance of mining licenses — Lands Minister

The government of Ghana is to overhaul the mining policy and adopt a bottom-up approach in the licensing regime to ensure sanity in the mining sector. Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Emmanuel Armah-Ko Buah, therefore, has announced that the government will soon undertake fundamental reforms at the Minerals Commission towards achieving President John Mahama’s vision of resetting the nation.
