Police Roll Out Security Measures Ahead of Ablekuma North Parliamentary Re-run

The Accra Regional Police Command has announced comprehensive security arrangements ahead of the Ablekuma North Parliamentary Re-run scheduled for today, Friday, July 11, 2025. In a statement signed by Superintendent Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, the Police assured the public of their readiness to ensure peace and order before, during, and after the electoral exercise. The Electoral Commission has designated nineteen (19) polling stations within the constituency for the re-run. Police personnel will be stationed at all these locations to maintain law and order, ensure voter safety, and prevent any acts of electoral violence or disruption.
