Dr Shafic Suleman appointed as Acting Executive Secretary of PURC
The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has announced Dr Shafic Suleman's appointment as the Commission's Acting Executive Secretary.
A statement issued by the PURC, copied to the Ghana News Agency said President John Dramani Mahama, made his appointment pursuant to section 33 (1) of the PURC Act 1997 (Act 538).
It said Dr Shafic would serve in this capacity pending approval by the Board in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Dr Shafic Suleman, PhD, MSc, BA, LLB, ERP is a Senior Lecturer at the institute for Oil and Gas Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
