A total of 120 businesses at Gushegu trained on digital tools
A total of 120 young businesswomen in the Gushegu Municipality have undergone training to equip them with relevant digital tools to leverage on-line platforms for marketing and finance.
The three week-long training, which ended at Gushegu in the Northern Region, was to promote rural economic empowerment, strengthen livelihoods through market access and build the capacity of Community Information Centres (CIC).
Topics treated included introduction to digital devices, the internet and mobile applications, introduction to social media, using social media for business, digital content creation and distribution, digital financial management, using mobile money in business, digital safety and security, entrepreneurship, and gender empowerment.
