Communal Labour: Kadjebi residents clear public cemetery
The Action Group for Development of Kadjebi-Akan, a pressure group, in collaboration with the Chiefs and the District Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit, has mobilised residents of Kadjebi township to embark on a communal labour exercise to clear weeds at the public cemetery.
The two-hour exercise drew participation from the Kadjebi Central, Dubonku, Freetown, and Estate/Zongo Electoral Areas.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Wofa Taye, Leader, Action Group for Development of Kadjebi-Akan, said the initiative was aimed at complementing the efforts of the District Assembly since development is a shared responsibility.
