Rujo Agri-Trade secures investment to scale climate-smart agriculture in northern Ghana
Rujo Agri-Trade Limited, a Ghanaian agro-business, has secured new investment to boost climate-smart agriculture and support smallholder farmers across northern Ghana.
The funding, provided by RDF Ghana LBG—a development finance institution—will facilitate the expansion of rice and soybean production, the acquisition of post-harvest technologies, and the strengthening of extension services to improve farmer training.
This was disclosed in a press statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra.
Founded in 2014, Rujo Agri-Trade works with over 3,000 smallholder farmers cultivating rice and soybean in the Northern, Savannah, and Upper East Regions.
