The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in a plot to assassinate a traditional ruler in the Eastern Region. The suspects, identified as Emelia Akua Asor and Butuakwa Seth, were apprehended in an intelligence-led operation conducted by the police following credible information about the planned attack. Nana Akyena Kwagyan Nuamah V, Chief of Esuowin in the Amansie West District of Ashanti, has handed over the renovated classroom block of the local Methodist JHS to the authorities of the school. The renovation of the six-unit classroom block was undertaken by the chief with support from some individuals of the community and old pupils of the school. The chief, as part of the ceremony, also donated 11 computers and two printers to facilitate the teaching and learning of ICT in the school.
