Asogli State launches 2025 Asogli Te Za, call for unity and development
The Chiefs and people of the Asogli State have officially launched the 2025 edition of the Asogli Te Za (Yam Festival) on the theme: “Together in Honesty and Purpose, We Build a Just, Peaceful and Prosperous Nation.”
The launch ceremony, held in Ho on Monday, marked the formal commencement of a series of events leading to the grand durbar slated for Saturday, October 4.
Volta Regional Minister, Mr. James Gunu, delivering the keynote address, described the festival as “a proud emblem of heritage, unity, and gratitude”, and commended Togbe Afede XIV and the entire Asogli State Council for their unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the people.
