Anlo Queens Council marks 10th Anniversary, celebrates unity and heritage
The Anlo Queens Council, an association comprising all queen mothers in the Anlo State, marked its 10th anniversary with a series of vibrant events aimed at celebrating leadership, unity, and cultural heritage.
The colorful celebration, held over the weekend at Anloga, saw the presence of queen mothers across the 36 states of Anlo.
The festivities officially commenced on Saturday, February 8th with a soccer competition for some football teams, and Thursday, February 13th, with a seminar focused on leadership, empowerment, and development, followed by a health walk and screening exercise on Friday, February 14th. 2025
The event was climaxed by a grand durbar at the Anloga District Assembly yard, which was attended by over 40 queenmothers alongside several chiefs.
