KNUST Mourns the Passing of Distinguished Alumna and Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, former First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement, and an illustrious alumna of the University.
In a message of condolence issued by the University, KNUST described the passing of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings on Thursday, October 23, 2025, as a “profound loss to the entire University community and to Ghana as a whole.”
