Afram Plains South NCCE engages religious bodies on December elections
The Kwahu Afram Plains South District Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has organised an inter-faith meeting to foster collaboration between Christians and Muslims in a bid to promote peaceful elections.
The engagement involved executives from the Inter-Party Dialogue Committee (IPDC) and staff of the NCCE, who led discussions with representatives from 10 groups.
These included youth organisations, women's groups, Muslim associations, Okada riders, and various church congregations who actively discussed the importance of peaceful coexistence and the role of faith in ensuring fair electoral processes.
