The Tema Regional Police Command has secured the conviction of two men who attacked, raped, and robbed a young woman along the Apollonia–Afienya road late last month. The disturbing incident happened on September 27, 2025, at Okushibli, when a 19-year-old hairdresser hired a motor rider, Nicholas Tetteh, to take her to Afienya. Police say the rider conspired with two accomplices, including Joseph Tetteh, to assault the victim. On the way, she was dragged into a nearby bush, where two of the men allegedly raped her before taking off with her iPhone XR and handbag containing GHC 150.
