NCCE Mourns Eight Patriots Lost in Adansi Akrofuom Helicopter Crash
The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has joined the nation in mourning the tragic loss of eight Ghanaians, including two cabinet ministers, government officials, and military officers, in a military helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson, Kathleen Addy, the Commission described the incident as a “monumental loss to our Republic” and extended heartfelt condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the government, and the bereaved families.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, whose hearts are heavy with grief,” the statement read.
