The Ghana Police Service has dismissed media reports suggesting that one of its officers involved in an infraction during the recent Ablekuma North By-Election is facing dismissal. An application filed at the Supreme Court has injuncted the Ministry of the Interior and the National Election Security taskforce from providing security for the Electoral Commission (EC) to collate the Ablekuma North parliamentary election results. The Minister of the Interior, Alhaji Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, made this known on the floor of Parliament on Wednesday.
