Police Deny Reports of Dismissal of Officer in Ablekuma By-Election Incident
The Ghana Police Service has dismissed media reports suggesting that one of its officers involved in an infraction during the recent Ablekuma North By-Election is facing dismissal.
In a statement signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, the Service described the reports as false and misleading.
According to the Police, no such decision has been taken regarding the officer, stressing that its internal disciplinary process is a quasi-judicial procedure whose outcome cannot be predetermined.
