GES Launches Probe into Alleged Malpractices in 2025 BECE
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it is launching a full-scale investigation into alleged examination malpractices in the ongoing 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
This follows reports by sections of the media, particularly a JoyNews TV documentary, which suggested that some schools may have engaged in irregular practices during the examinations.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Mr. Daniel Fenyi, the GES said it would immediately obtain a copy of the full documentary, including original transcripts, for scrutiny before commencing investigations.
