The President of the Republic has announced the appointment of eighteen Deputy Heads of Mission to represent Ghana in key diplomatic posts across the world.
The appointments, communicated in an official statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, form part of government’s effort to reinforce Ghana’s foreign service and enhance bilateral and multilateral relations with partner nations.
According to the statement, the newly appointed Deputy Heads of Mission are as follows:

The President has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration to take the necessary steps to facilitate the appointment process and ensure a smooth transition for the new diplomats.
In the statement, Dr. Mahama conveyed the President’s highest regards to all appointees and emphasized the administration’s commitment to advancing Ghana’s diplomatic objectives through effective representation abroad.
Copies of the communication were also forwarded to the Vice President and the Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The new Deputy Heads of Mission are expected to support Ghana’s Ambassadors and High Commissioners in promoting the country’s economic, political, and cultural interests globally, while fostering stronger partnerships and cooperation with host nations.
