Pastor Paul Adefarasin Mourns Victims of Ghana Helicopter Crash, Pays Tribute to Fallen Leaders

Renowned Nigerian clergyman and founder of House On The Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has expressed heartfelt condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the Government, and the people of Ghana following the tragic military helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight prominent individuals earlier today.

In a moving tribute, Pastor Adefarasin said his heart was with Ghana, describing the incident as a great national loss that had taken “valued leaders and brave officers from our midst.”

“I extend sincere condolences to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the Government, and the good people of Ghana on the helicopter tragedy that has taken valued leaders and brave officers from our midst,” he said.

Honouring Their Service and Sacrifice

The victims of the crash included Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and six other senior public officials and members of the Ghana Armed Forces, all of whom were reportedly on official duty.

Pastor Adefarasin praised the dedication and sacrifice of the deceased, saying:

“We honour their devotion to the nation they loved and served.”

A Message of Comfort and Hope

Offering spiritual support to the grieving families and the entire nation, Pastor Adefarasin prayed for divine strength and healing.

“May the God of all comfort strengthen every grieving family,” he said, adding that the legacy of the fallen patriots should inspire future generations of Ghanaian leaders.

“May the legacy of these patriots inspire a rising generation of Ghanaian leaders.”

Widespread Mourning

As Ghana observes a period of national mourning, flags are flying at half-mast and messages of condolence continue to pour in from world leaders, diplomats, and religious figures across the globe. Pastor Adefarasin’s message adds to the chorus of voices offering solace and solidarity to a nation in grief.
