Okwawu United seal GHC3 Million medical sponsorship deal with Kenop Care hospital

Okwawu United Football Club has announced a landmark GHC3 million medical sponsorship agreement with Kenop Care Hospital, marking a significant boost to the club’s welfare and healthcare support system.

Under the two-year partnership with an option for a one-year extension Kenop Care Hospital becomes the official medical partner of Okwawu United. The hospital will provide comprehensive medical services to all players, technical staff, and management throughout the duration of the agreement.

The sponsorship covers full health insurance for every member of the club, ensuring seamless access to top-quality healthcare without financial burden. In addition, Kenop Care Hospital has pledged periodic financial support to Okwawu United as part of its corporate social responsibility commitment.

Speaking on the partnership, club officials described the deal as a “transformative step” in the club’s vision to enhance player welfare and professional standards.

Kenop Care Hospital, known for its excellence in healthcare delivery, will also extend a 20% discount on medical services to all registered Okwawu United supporters at its facilities nationwide a move expected to deepen the club’s bond with its fans and the wider community.

The partnership signals a growing collaboration between the sports and healthcare sectors in Ghana, reinforcing the importance of player health and community engagement in modern football.
