Okwawu United Football Club has officially announced the mutual termination of its contract with Head Coach Sule Adamu, bringing his tenure with the club to an end with immediate effect.
In a press statement released by the club’s management, both parties reached a mutual agreement to part ways amicably. The club expressed its appreciation for Coach Adamu’s commitment and contributions during his time in charge.
“Okwawu United and Coach Sule Adamu announce the mutual termination of his contract with immediate effect. Both parties have agreed to part ways amicably. The club appreciates Coach Adamu’s contributions and wishes him well in his future endeavours,” the statement read.

Coach Adamu took charge of Okwawu United during a challenging period, guiding the team through a crucial phase of rebuilding and youth integration. His leadership, though brief, is acknowledged for its professionalism and dedication.
In the interim, Assistant Coach Bismark Asiedu has been appointed to oversee the direction of the Technical Team as the club begins the search for a new head coach. Management has assured supporters that efforts are already underway to find a suitable and experienced replacement to lead the team into the upcoming 2025/26 football season.
The club further extended its gratitude to fans and stakeholders for their continued support as Okwawu United aims to reposition itself as a formidable force in Ghanaian football.
