NDC Secretary urges more women to aspire for political appointments

Mr Daniel Hinne, the Deputy Dormaa Central Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bono Region has urged more women in the party to aspire and contest for leadership positions in politics.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Dormaa Ahenkro, he expressed worry that only one out of the eight people contesting for the Dormaa Municipal Chief Executive position was a woman.

Mr Hinne urged women to be courageous and aspire for higher political positions to enable them to also contribute meaningfully to the growth of the party and the development of the nation.

He also urged women in the party to make themselves available, participate in party and community activities and to market themselves well and build their confidence too.
