MultiChoice Ghana Clarifies DStv Value Offering Following Joint Media Statement

MultiChoice Ghana has issued a clarification on its DStv value offering following concerns raised over an earlier set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) published on its website, which some subscribers interpreted as contradictory.

The clarification comes in the wake of a recent joint press conference held with the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, the National Communications Authority (NCA), MultiChoice Africa, and MultiChoice Ghana.

According to the company, the new value offering, which officially took effect today, 1st October 2025, is fully aligned with the joint media statement issued by the Honourable Minister, Samuel Nartey George. MultiChoice Ghana confirmed that implementation has already begun.

The company further highlighted that, as agreed, the Committee overseeing the initiative will reconvene in three months to assess its impact, adding that such evaluations will be conducted periodically.

Importantly, MultiChoice Ghana emphasized that there are no restrictions on subscribers’ choice of bouquet. The value offering applies to all customers—whether existing, returning, or new.

“We apologize for any inconvenience the FAQs may have caused our valued customers,” the company noted in its statement.

The clarification aims to assure subscribers of transparency and reinforce MultiChoice Ghana’s commitment to delivering quality and affordable entertainment options to households across the country.
