As Kwahu gears up for its iconic Easter celebrations, Member of Parliament for the Mpraeso Constituency, Davis Ansah Opoku, has thrown his support behind a group of young, creative artists working to beautify the pathway to the region.
The youth-led initiative involves painting vibrant murals along key routes, showcasing Ghanaian culture, unity, and identity. Hon. Opoku joined the artists on-site, offering words of encouragement and patriotic praise for their efforts. In addition to providing paints, he also gave a financial donation to support the project.
“Their work adds more than just colour—it reflects the vibrant spirit of Kwahu and tells a powerful story of culture, identity, and unity,” the MP noted.

With thousands of visitors expected to flock to Kwahu for the annual Easter festivities, the murals are set to make a striking impression and enhance the welcoming atmosphere of the area.
Davis Ansah Opoku emphasized the importance of backing community-led creative efforts, urging others to support projects that promote cultural pride and community spirit. “Let’s continue to support initiatives that make our communities more vibrant and inspiring,” he said.
The Easter celebrations in Kwahu are among Ghana’s most anticipated cultural events, drawing revelers from across the country and beyond.
