Minister for Sports Sends Goodwill Message to Black Stars Ahead of Chad Clash

The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, has sent a stirring message of encouragement to the Black Stars ahead of their crucial FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Chad.

In his goodwill message, the Minister urged the players, technical team, and the entire Black Stars contingent to approach the match with strength, belief, and a sense of national duty.

“This is more than just a game; it is an opportunity to lift the flag of Ghana high once again and remind the world of the spirit, talent, and resilience that define Ghanaian football,” Hon. Adams stated.

He reminded the team that they carry the pride of over 30 million Ghanaians, both at home and abroad. “As you walk onto that field, you do so not as individuals, but as a united force representing a nation hungry for glory and ready to rally behind its heroes,” he said.

The Minister further encouraged the Black Stars to play with purpose, defend with pride, and attack with courage, stressing that the government and people of Ghana stand solidly behind them.

“Know that we are with you in spirit, in prayer, and in full support. Make us proud. The entire nation is watching and we are standing with you every step of the way. Ghana believes in you,” Hon. Adams concluded.

The Black Stars are set to face Chad in what many describe as a must-win game as the team continues its quest to secure qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
