Mr. Wisdom Osei Boamah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya South, has stressed the need for every resident in the area to contribute his or her quota towards the speedy development of the municipality.
“Let us work hand in hand to bring development to every corner of Atwima Nwabiagya South,” he stated, during a familiarization tour of some communities in the Municipality.
The visit was to discuss the development challenges in the area with the people and seek the inputs of the chiefs and other stakeholders on how to address them.

Mr Boamah stressed his determination and readiness to serve up to the developmental expectations of the people to justify the confidence they had reposed in him.
“Great leaders don’t wait for change, they lead it, so let’s keep working hand in hand to bring lasting development to every corner of Atwima Nwabiagya South,” he told the people.
Among the communities visited were Ntebenu, Akuapem, Bankyease, Ahwiaa, Darkoaa, Bronsankro and Nyamesem.
He thanked the chiefs and the people for supporting him from the time he campaigned to contest for the parliamentary seat and MCE position until date.
Mr Boamah mentioned improvement in road network, health, education, agriculture, electricity among others, as areas of greater concern and called on the people to support and cooperate with him to achieve the development agenda of the district.
Mr. Yussif Yahayah, Assemblyman for the Ntebenu electoral area, thanked the MCE for reshaping the 19-kilometre-road, which linked the communities in the electoral area and made travelling easier.
He said pointed out that, the deplorable nature of the road was the greatest worry of the people especially, patients and pregnant women but had now been constructed and made it easier for the people to access healthcare and improved economic activities and livelihoods in the area.
