The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced plans to roll out a new digital platform, DVLA SELECT, starting in 2026.
The platform is designed to give vehicle owners the opportunity to choose and reserve their preferred vehicle registration numbers online before proceeding with the full registration process at DVLA offices.
According to the Authority, the initiative aims to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and reduce long wait times at registration centers.
DVLA further assured the general public that detailed guidelines and procedures for accessing the platform will be communicated in due course.
This move forms part of the Authority’s broader digital transformation agenda to modernize its operations and make services more accessible to clients nationwide
