WAEC releases 2025 BECE provisional results; 177 candidates have entire results cancelled

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of candidates who sat the 2025 BECE for School Candidates.The entire results of 177 candidates have been cancelled according to a press statement issued by WAEC on Saturday  [August 23] evening. The subject results of 718 candidates have also been cancelled, it said. In addition to the withholding of the entire results of 93 candidates, 1,240 candidates have had their subject results withheld. Meanwhile, the subject results of some candidates from 119 schools have been cancelled. According to WAEC, the subject results of some candidates from 87 schools have been withheld for further scrutiny.
