Ghanaian football powerhouse Asante Kotoko have bolstered their attacking lineup with the signing of Guinean forward Morifing Donzo ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Porcupine Warriors, fresh off their MTN FA Cup triumph but narrowly missing out on the Ghana Premier League title last season, are determined to reclaim the top spot. As part of their ambitious preparations, the club has been actively reinforcing the squad with top-tier talent.
On Tuesday, Kotoko officially announced the capture of Donzo on a three-year deal, pending the approval of his work permit.
“Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of Guinean forward Morifing Donzo on a three-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical. The deal is subject to the approval of his work permit,” the club said in a statement.
Donzo, 27, joins from Guinean giants Hafia FC and arrives with significant experience on the continental stage, having featured in both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
He is expected to form a formidable partnership up front with Kwame Poku and Albert Amoah as the Kumasi-based side gears up for a title-winning campaign.
