Asante Kotoko SC Bolsters Club Structure with Strategic Appointments

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has announced a series of strategic appointments aimed at enhancing its administrative and sporting departments as the club gears up for sustained success both on and off the pitch.

In a statement released by the club, four highly qualified professionals have joined the Porcupine Warriors’ leadership team, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles.

Charles Kweku Hammond has been named the club’s new Marketing and Brands Manager. With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hammond is expected to drive the club’s brand visibility and fan engagement to new heights. His background in brand strategy, customer engagement, and market development is seen as a valuable asset in positioning Asante Kotoko as a formidable force not just in football but also in sports marketing.

Onyina Asenso has taken up the role of Corporate and External Affairs Manager. Asenso, who previously worked with Legon Cities Football Club, holds an MA in Public Administration, Governance, and Leadership from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He will be responsible for managing relationships with corporate partners, stakeholders, and external entities, a role crucial to fostering strategic partnerships and strengthening the club’s corporate presence.

In a move to tighten internal coordination, Christopher Demanya, a former chairman of the National Circles Council (NCC), has been appointed as the club’s new Director of Operations. Demanya is expected to play a central role in aligning all departmental functions and supporting executive decision-making to ensure optimal performance across the club’s operations.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Akwasi Kusi joins the technical team as the Assistant Coach for the Youth Team. Kusi brings deep passion and experience in youth football development. His appointment is part of the club’s long-term vision to nurture and promote homegrown talent through a structured youth development program.

The latest appointments reflect Asante Kotoko SC’s commitment to professionalism, growth, and sustainable success. Club officials expressed confidence that the new additions will contribute meaningfully to Kotoko’s legacy and future ambitions.
