In the wake of recent devastating floods that have swept across parts of Ghana, Alan Kyerematen, Leader and Founder of the Movement for Change, has expressed deep condolences and called for urgent national action to prevent future tragedies.
In a heartfelt message shared with the public, Kyerematen extended his sympathies to families who have lost loved ones and acknowledged the broader suffering caused by the disaster. “The images of displaced families, damaged homes, and lost livelihoods are a painful reminder of the suffering many are enduring,” he stated.
The Movement for Change leader criticized what he described as a pattern of “No Action, Talk Only (NATO)” and emphasized that Ghana can no longer afford to delay real, impactful interventions. “Ghana is tired of No Action, Talk Only,” he said, urging leaders and citizens alike to move beyond words and toward effective, lasting solutions.

Alan Kyerematen called on all Ghanaians to rise together not just with sympathy, but with a collective commitment to change. “Together, we can transform to a Ghana where no child is drowned by negligence, no family is left homeless by inaction, and no Ghanaian is forgotten,” he added.
The Movement for Change has positioned itself as a proactive political force advocating for responsive governance, especially in times of crisis. As floodwaters recede, the focus now turns to recovery efforts and the hope that the tragedy will inspire lasting reform.
