The Akatsi South Municipal Football Association (FA) has expressed deep sorrow and shock over the sudden death of Hope Venator, a player for Avenorpedo Redboutz United.
According to reports, Venator allegedly passed away as a result of food poisoning, a development that has left the local football community in grief.
In a statement signed by the FA’s Public Relations Officer, Jonathan Quami Dorkenoo, the leadership of the Association, together with all clubs and stakeholders, extended their heartfelt condolences to Venator’s bereaved family and his club, Avenorpedo Redboutz United.
The FA further assured that, in collaboration with Redboutz United and the player’s family, updates on funeral arrangements will be communicated once they are available.
“May his gentle soul rest in peace,” the statement concluded.
