Seven Players and Four Officials of Kotoko test positive for Covid 19 in Sudan

Seven players and four officials of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus ahead of their second leg tie of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League preliminary round against Al Hilal this afternoon. Reports from Sudan says that five players and six members of the technical and management team have contracted with the deadly virus.  The entire Asante Kotoko team underwent a mandatory COVID-19 test on Wednesday. The game is set to kick off at exactly 1:00 pm this afternoon.

Road accident at Abusakope claims lives of Seven, leaves 18 injured on New Year’s Eve

Seven persons have died after they were involved in a road accident at Abusakope in the Eastern Region on Thursday, December 31, 2020. The incident which involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus onboard from Accra to Ho and a tipper truck also left 18 others injured. It occurred at about 7:20 pm. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GN 8109-15 is said to have run into the tipper truck loaded which was sand parked at the near side edge of the road. Police officials said all the 18 passengers including the driver sustained various degree of injuries and were rushed to Akuse Government Hospital and Saint Martin De-Porres hospital Agormanya for treatment. Seven Turkish security personnel killed in reconnaissance plane crash

Seven Turkish security personnel have died after their plane crashed into a mountain in the east of the country, state media reported Thursday.
