Mrs. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, is advocating for a re-demarcation of the jurisdiction of Konongo Divisional Police to enhance security in some parts of the Juaben Municipality which falls under the Konongo Police.  She argues that placing the Nobewam-Bomfa-Achiase stretch under the Juaben Municipal Police Command will help curb the rampant armed robbery menace which has plagued the area over the years.  “Since that stretch falls under Konongo Police Jurisdiction, all crime cases are reported to the Konongo police despite these communities being within Juaben Municipality,” she pointed out.  Mrs. Ansu made the call when she visited and donated undisclosed amounts to victims of a robbery incident at Adumasa.  She emphasis...
