The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with violent disturbances that erupted during a football match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC at Nsoatre in the Bono Region on February 2, 2025. The clashes led to the tragic death of one person. According to a statement released by the Public Affairs Directorate of the Police Headquarters, the suspects—Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Agyemang Duah Owusu, and Kyeremeh Joseph—are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
