Ahafo Region: Police detective dies while on election duties
Detective Constable Kwarteng Abebrese Nantwi of Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters Operations in Accra currently on Election Duties at Ahafo Region has been confirmed dead.
Reports says Detective Kwarteng was rushed to the Hwidiem Government Hospital after after falling sick but was discharged after treatment.
The Police officer passed out in his room on Monday December 7th, 2020 and was rushed back to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
His body has since been deposited at the Hwediem Government Hospital morgue pending further actions.
The Ghana Police Service has deployed personnel to all the 16 regions of Ghana to ensure peaceful election.
