Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang Supports Ankaful Prison Through Annual Donation
Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has once again demonstrated her commitment to social responsibility and human dignity through a donation to the Ankaful Prison in Cape Coast, as part of a longstanding annual tradition of giving back.
The donation, made on her behalf, was carried out by a team led by Hon. Kakra Yalley and was aimed at supporting the welfare of both inmates and officers of the facility.
According to the Vice President, the yearly exercise is rooted in a strong belief that every Ghanaian, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to be treated with dignity and humanity. She emphasized that prisons are not merely places of confinement but institutions meant for correction, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society.
