Reminder: media accreditation deadline for World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26

Media representatives wishing to cover the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26, taking place from 20-22 March, are reminded that they can register for media accreditation online.

Deadline for registration: 27 February 2026

Media accreditation
Press and photographers wishing to cover the championships will require a specific access code to enter the World Athletics online accreditation system.

If you wish to apply and do not yet have an access code, please contact your national athletics federation.

Access the media accreditation portal here:
wasaccreditation.net/kujawy-pomorze26/mediahome.aspx

All media should review the World Athletics media accreditation guidelines for all media categories. The guidelines can be found under the ‘media’ section on this page of the World Athletics Library.

Media accommodation
If you require accommodation, please indicate this directly within your accreditation application.

• Accommodation request deadline: 27 February 2026

• Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability cannot be guaranteed after the deadline, although the accommodation team will do their best to support all media.

• A full deposit will be required to confirm your booking. The LOC will issue an invoice once your accreditation has been approved by World Athletics.

• Payment must be completed by 5 March 2026, in accordance with the terms outlined in the accommodation request form.

For accommodation enquiries: accommodation@kujawypomorze26.pl

For accreditation enquiries:
• World Athletics Media Operations Team – mediaops@worldathletics.org
• LOC Media Operations Team – mediaops@kujawypomorze26.pl

Media visa
All media representatives who require a visa to enter the Schengen Area must obtain a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C) specifically for professional media or journalistic purposes.

Please note that visa-free entry for tourism or private travel does not permit professional media activities. Journalists, photographers, broadcasters and crew members must therefore ensure they apply for the correct visa category, using their official media accreditation confirmation as supporting documentation.

Content creator registration
Content creators wishing to cover World Athletics Series (WAS) events for editorial purposes only may apply directly via the following link:

wasaccreditation.net/wascc/

Applicants must create an account and submit their application for review by World Athletics. Please note that accreditation is not guaranteed.

If approved, applicants will receive a confirmation email with instructions to complete their full accreditation process, including the submission of travel and accommodation details.

Once granted, your WASCC account may be used to apply for future World Athletics Series events.
