The remains of the late former Ghana Black Stars striker Raphael Dwamena has arrived in the country from Albania.
The former’s body was received by his family in Accra late on Friday night at the Kotoka International Airport.
Raphael Dwamena was pronounced dead after he collapsed on the pitch during a League match in Albanian premier league.
The former Ghana international suffered a cardiac arrest during a league match between Egnatia and Partizani and was pronunced dead on arrival the Kavaja hospital.
The footballer had a history of heart related issues. He had in the past collapsed in a game and revived in the hospital before his passing last weekend.
Dwamena scored nine goals in the ongoing Albanian season.
