Ghana Black Stars defender Baba Rahman lost consciousness after falling from an aerial duel in the Greek Cup semi-finals between Panathinaikos and PAOK.

The former Chelsea man was rushed to the hospital after being given first aid at the stadium.

Although,POAK won 2-1 to send the game to penalties, they lost 6-5 on penalties.

His absence will be a big worry for Poak fans and the technical team as he has been an integral part of the team since his permanent transfer from Chelsea.

He’s been in top form for his side putting up splendid performances on weekly basis both in the league and in cup games registering two goals and three assists in his previous appearances.

The former Asante Kotoko man opted out of the Ghana team for the just ended African Cup of Nations to concentrate on his team and help them win laurels.

Baba Rahman’s absence from the team will undoubtedly be felt, but the club’s primary concern at present is his speedy recovery and well-being.
