Danlad Ibrahim, Georges Mfegue others released by Asante Kotoko

Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko has mutually parted ways with 11 players including Danlad Ibrahim and Georges Mefegue the club has announced.

The club arrived at the decision after a disastrous season which saw them finish sixth in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

The decision to let go of these players according to the Porcupine Warriors head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is not based only on footballing matters but also disciplinary grounds among other things.

Some of the players who have left the club chose not to renew their contract after their contract with the club ended.

The players who have left the club are Ibrahim Danlad who was the captain of the team, Georges Mfegue, Eric Zeze, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Kalo Ouattara, Isaac Oppong, Augustine Agyapong, John Tedeku, Sherif Mohammed, Nicholas Mensah and Moise Pouaty.
