In a vibrant display of traditional devotion, hundreds of believers gathered at the revered Babana shrine behind Dambai Police barrier in the Krachi East municipality to offer praises and gratitude for protection throughout the year 2025.
The air was thick with spiritual fervor as devotees, dressed in traditional attire, participating in rituals and ceremonies led by revered chief priest, Nana Edo Awudi.
The shrine, a cornerstone of traditional worship, saw devotees from far and near converging to express thanks for blessings and guidance in the year.

The traditional priest led ceremonies, offered prayers, libations and sacrifices as faithful sought to strengthen their bond with the spiritual realm.
The event fostered unity and solidarity among participants, reinforcing the shine’s role as a beacon of cultural heritage.
Mr Agboso Nyanyovor and some devotees who spoke with GNA, credited the shine’s powers for keeping their families healthy and protected, fulfilling prayers made the previous year.
